Dr. John Cooke, Optometrist at Temple Vision

John Cooke, OD grew up in Temple, Texas, and graduated from Temple High School in 1987. In 1998, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. The curriculum at the University of Houston included the theory of optics, anatomy, and pathological conditions of the eye. Dr. Cooke did his internship with the Cornea Associates of Dallas, where he gained valuable experience with anterior segment disease and laser vision correction. While there, he even had his vision corrected with LASIK.

After optometry school, Dr. Cooke moved back to central Texas and has been practicing in Killeen for the past 16 years. His practice received many “Best of Central Texas” awards from the Killeen Daily Herald. When the opportunity to buy Temple Vision came about, Dr. Cooke felt it was his calling to come back to Temple and provide eye care to his community. Dr. Cooke truly loves his profession and looks forward to providing vision care for you and your family.

Dr. Megan Constans, Optometrist at Temple Vision

Megan Constans, OD grew up in the Kansas City area where she had a private practice for 16 years. Three years ago she moved to Cedar Park, TX with her husband and 3 boys and joined Temple Vision in 2017. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University(Go Cats!) and graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry (Go Coogs!).

Dr. Constans is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and the Central Texas Optometric Society.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Constans and her husband, Joe, enjoy watching their boys play competitive baseball and swim. Dr. Constans is excited to be a part of Temple Vision and is dedicated to providing the best eye care for your family.
